“Today my father sadly passed. He was always a cowboy at heart and the happiest when he worked cattle in Uvalde and hanging out in Moulton, TX (Moulton Hilton). He will be missed but no longer in pain. The good lord got his hippie sleeveless Cowboy back.”
by Corey (Son)
“My big brother passed this morning. He could be difficult but in an endearing way. He was…is, much loved and is already missed. We know he is with God. His happiest place was when he worked in Uvalde Texas at a ranch run by Texas A&M. He was an honest to God bona fide cowboy… He loved being out in nature. A loaner but not. He always loved his family and wanted them near…even if he didn’t talk much when they were around. He loved the solitude of his work, the animals, and the outdoors. He considered that area ‘his church’… where he spoke to God the way he knew how and worked out life’s issues with Jesus.
I know he is now riding the range in Heaven. At his happiest again. We love Kirk and will miss you dearly until we get to see you again!”

Kirk was a great guy! We are so lucky to have known him. To his family we are sorry for your loss. But he is riding with all the cowboys in heaven. Love y’all
Perhaps they are not stars in the sky,
But rather opening where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.
May you cowboy out forever with the Lord,
RIP
Bill, Dot and family,
Just want you to know how sorry we are for your loss. We never got to meet Kirk (Julie would’ve adored him, our cowgirl) but know we’d have loved him too, as we do you. May our Heavenly Father keep you strong, in His tender care, with grace & peace until that great day when He calls us home and we are reunited again. Love and prayers for all the family, I know y’all are missing him. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
It sounds like Kirk led a good life. I know he had a wonderful son aka Corey, my son-in-law. Rest in Peace, Sir.
