Patricia Mae Kampenga, of League City, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Friendswood, Texas at the age of 80.She was born on July 23, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Chrystal Stach.

Mother to Tad, David, and Julie. Mother-in-law to Michelle, Lucrecia, and Steve. Grandmother to Amanda, Victoria, Maegan, Jeff, Michael, and Hannah. Great grandmother to Kaitlin, Liam, and Keegan.

Pat actively attended Nassau Bay Baptist Church and was very involved in all church activities throughout her adult life. She taught and participated in various Bible studies and Sunday School classes. Pat wrote many lessons for Joy of Living Bible Studies and also adapted these into a curriculum to teach children. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and involved with the Clear Creek Republican Women organization. When not volunteering for one of her many organizations, Pat loved reading, studying maps, and traveling.

Constant befriender of strangers, and lover of all babies, our Pat bestowed kindness and humor upon all who were lucky enough to encounter her. She will always be remembered.

Preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Victoria, and her husband Theodore.

Survived by her brothers: Ed and Bob; her children: Tad, David, and Julie; daughter-in-law’s Michelle and Lucrecia, son-n-law Steve; grandchildren: Amanda, Maegan, Jeff, Michael, and Hannah; and great grandchildren: Kaitlin, Liam, and Keegan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Nassau Bay Baptist Church, 18131 Nassau Bay Drive, Houston TX 77058.
