Clara Marjorie Nelson, aged 94, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2024 surrounded by family, in Webster, TX. She was born on January 20, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Clarence and Edith Brown, both of whom have since passed. Marjorie was preceded in death by her devoted
husband of 59 years, Dr. Page Nelson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children and grandchildren: Catherine Tyree (Jim), along with their children Atlee and James (Robin), and grandchild Zander; Thomas Nelson (Carol) and son Seth, along with grandchildren Tristan and Chase; Page Nelson (Kim), and their children Zachary and Kristen (Brett); John Nelson, and his children Ashley and Avery; Edith Katzfey, and her children Andrew (Erin) and Alison.

Marjorie has called Pearland home for the past 23 years, having previously resided in Houston, TX. Her life’s journey began with nursing school and continued with honorable service in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. It was there that she met her beloved Page, and together they embarked on a life filled with love and adventure. Marjorie and Page found solace and community as members of First Presbyterian Church after relocating to the area in 2000.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024.

The funeral service will take place the following day at First Presbyterian Church, 2930 E Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77581, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Marjorie will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX.
