Scottie Dwight Davis
Scottie Dwight Davis was 54 years old when passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at his residence in Texas City, Texas. He was born on March 16, 1969 in Houston, Texas to Gilbert and Vera Davis.
Scottie graduated from St. Pius X High School and attended Houston Community College.
Scottie met the love of his life, Joy and they united in matrimony on March 12, 1991. To this union three beautiful children were born, Christian, Tristan and Shelby.
To support his family he worked with his father as a contractor at Davis & Son Remodeling for many years. He went on to work for Marriott Hotel Eldridge, Ozarka Water Company, BP Oil Company and finally Dow Chemical Company in a job he dearly loved.
Scottie is survived by his wife of 34 years to Joy, children Crystal, Christian, Tristan, Shelby, Cory and Ligaya, parents Gilbert and Vera Davis, sister Melody Burr, nieces Marari and Maelin Burr, Felina Schneider and Lashaun Johnson, ten grandchildren and a host of many more family and friends.
A visitation will be on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 9:00am -10:00am at the Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. Funeral Service is at 11:00am at the Crowder Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Davis and Pastor Kanika Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.
Arrangements are entrusted by the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.
