Betty was a great lady and I feel so fortunate to have known her. We both served on the endowment committee back in the day. We stayed friends for many years and she was so respected and admired by me. I saw her last year at the Galentine’s Day event at the Mediterraneo Market Cafe last February. She gave me the biggest hug and told me how proud she was of me. What a great example she was of a smart, driven business woman and a big supporter of other women in the business. She will be greatly missed!
So sorry for you loss. I know Betty was a great mother and grandmother and will be missed by many. I am praying for your family. Lisa
Betty was my boss at Gulf Coast Authority for many years. She was the Director of Finance. She was responsible for any success I enjoyed. We had many discussions about government accounting theory over the years. She was passionate about the field. It was a pleasure to serve under her.
Carol and I always enjoyed or time with Betty much of it on trips abroad with Al and Betty, she was indeed a classy lady and she will be missed.
