Bernardina Segovia
Bernardina Segovia, 66, resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on February 29, 2024. Dina was born in El Salvador on March 28, 1957 to parents, Julio Fuegos and Marina Diaz.
Dina was truly one of a kind. She was generous, wise, and loving. She had a heart of gold. Dina enjoyed dancing, singing, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and was the rock for her family. She was a confidante to many. Everyone who knew her was immediately drawn to her kind and welcoming spirit. She was a fighter on this earth, always wanting to help others and inspiring confidence in those who were lucky to know her. She met the love of her life, Tomas Segovia, when they were teenagers and soon married. From that union, they were blessed with two daughters and one son.
Bernardina was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tomas Segovia, brothers, Julio Fuegos and Rene Fuegos.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children; daughters, Elsy Segovia and husband, Brian Goldsmith; Patricia Segovia and husband, Robert Schantz; son, Tomas Segovia and wife, Shade Segovia; sister, Marina Fuegos De Rivas and husband, Elvis; brothers, Mario Guzman and Jesus Fuegos and wife, Ana; five grandchildren, Dina Segovia, Alexander Segovia, Isabella Schantz, Ernest Goldsmith, and Ruby Goldsmith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, extended family and dear friends. She will be greatly missed and leaves a void in all our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
In her honor a visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 6:00pm-9:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
I’m still in utter disbelief. You’re memory will live on in all of us. Thank you for all the great memories from childhood until adulthood. Jesus will always remember you as our Tia from Texas! RIP we love and will miss you.
