Micaela Ines Knotts (74) of Willis, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was born in Houston, Texas on March 9, 1949 to Ines and Marston Slate. Micaela was a 1967 graduate of Sam Houston High School in Houston where she was a member of the National Honor Society. From there she entered the workforce in accounting for several insurance companies; she then earned her insurance license later in her career.

Reading a book, with one of her schnauzers in her lap, listening to Bobby yell at whatever sport that was on the TV was a perfect night. Micaela was also in the Law & Order fan club having watched every episode…Twice.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, three sisters: Jackie, Darlene and Lily, and one brother, Sonny. Micaela is survived by her loving husband, Robert (Bobby) Knotts and her son, Travis Knotts and his wife Stephanie.

A visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson (851 FM 517 W. Dickinson, TX 77539). A funeral service will begin at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 8, 2024 with Dr. Chad E. Rankin officiating.Honorary pallbearers will include Kyle Born, Eric Vaclavik, Jason Vaclavik, Forrest Elliott, Carlos Rhodes, and Trey Harper.
