Richard George Holt, Sr., 84, a resident of  Pearland, Texas for the past 48 years, received his eternal wings,  flew west to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ January 28, 2024, in Houston, Texas. He was born November 12, 1939, in Houston, Texas to parents, Edward Holcomb Holt and Bobbie Warren Holt. Richard served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church which later became Faith Springs Baptist Church. He was a proud member of the Airlines Pilot Association. Richard began his career in 1965 with Trans Texas Airways, which later became Texas International Airlines, and later became Continental Airlines where he retired November 11, 1999, after 35 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bobbie Holt and daughter, Debra Lee Holt.

He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Nancy Holt; sons, Richard Holt, Jr.,  Edward Holt, and wife Candy; grandchildren, Holly Holt and her wife Therese Pasket, and Richard “Ricky” Holt, III.

Visitation hours will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Crowder Funeral Home located at 2422 E. Broadway Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral services will be Monday, February 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery located at 6900 Lawndale St.  Houston, Texas 77023

A reception will follow graveside services at Faith Springs Baptist Church located at 2551 O’Day Road Pearland Texas 77581.
