Judith A Stone, of League City, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 in League City at the age of 74. She was born on April 12, 1940 in Miamisburg, Ohio to Irvin and Pearl Barnhart. Judith was a very active member of Lakeside Lutheran Church, Homeless ministry and Thanksgiving Basket coordinator. She enjoyed camping and visiting family and friends and traveling to historical sites. Judith was preceded in death by her sister Evelyn Long and brothers Russell Barnhart and Norman Barnhart. She is survived by her husband Glenn, daughter Christine Struewing , son James Stone, step-daughters Colleen Pioli and Donna Marie Malone, sisters Vera Long and Lois Eldridge, brothers Eldon Barnhart and Ronald Barnhart, seven grand children, two great-grandchildren and numerous other loving family and friends. The Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6-8:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas 77573. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will follow on Friday at 10:00am at Lakeside Lutheran Church, 1101 South Egret Bay Blvd, League City, TX 77573 with pastor Jim Fowler officiating. Interment will take place at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
