Debra Lynn Damia

Debra Lynn Damia was born December 13, 1956, in Upper Darby Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and she passed away on December 5, 2023 in League City, TX.   A Mass to remember her is scheduled for Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 1:30pm at St. Mary of the Expectation Catholic Church in League City, TX.

Debbie met her husband Jim Connatser on a blind date set up by mutual friends and they were married less than two years later on August 22, 1980. In their time together, Debbie and Jim operated a company they started in their garage and built into a thriving business. Debbie also worked for the Gallup Poll for more than a decade; she loved speaking to people about themselves and their opinions, and in this way, she truly shined when connecting with others.

Debbie was a dedicated mother, active member of the community, and loyal friend. Her children were the light of her life and she was so proud of them. They were raised knowing she would do anything for their family and her tireless work ethic was instilled in each of them. Debbie was a dedicated volunteer for her son’s high school wrestling and football teams, the biggest fan and supporter at her daughters’ dance recitals, and the Girl Scout Troop Leader for her youngest daughter. She loved God, plants, knitting, a good cup of coffee, and her family more than anything.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Doris Camp and George Damia, and the father of her children Jim Connatser. Debbie is survived by her children Daniel Connatser and his wife Valerie of League City, Jenna Patterson of League City, and Jeramie Krippner and her husband Alex of League City; and her grandchildren James and Cassidy Connatser, as well as Bradan, Maddox and Eleanor Patterson.
