A loving, caring, gentle soul Rafael Mendoza, 73, a Pearland, TX resident for over 50 years, passed away November 7, 2023 in Houston, TX.

Rafael was born in Guanajuato, Mexico on May 11, 1950 and was of the Catholic faith. He worked for Brazoria Drainage District #4 for over 30 years. He had happily retired in the year of 2009.

He leaves behind his parents, Antonio and Genoveva Mendoza; sisters: Aurora Mendoza, and San Juana Delgado; brother, Luis Mendoza.

Rafael leaves behind his wife Maria E. Mendoza; daughters: Nora Aguilera, husband Robert and Laura Mendoza, husband Leonel; son, Rene Mendoza, wife Ariel; grandchildren: David, Christian, Robert Jr,

Sebastian, Fabian, Valarie, Braulio, Loukas, Zuleya, and Alahni; great grandchildren: Noah, Penelope, Leo; sisters: Rosa Jaramillo, husband Luz, Mode Aguilera; brothers: Rogelio Mendoza, and Felix Mendoza, wife Gloria.

There will be a visitation Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland.  A mass will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 10am at St. Helens Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd Pearland, Tx 77581.
