So very sad to hear of Sonya’s passing. I had the honor to learn from her in my younger days at Lockheed Martin. I respected her, adored her and despised her all at the same time but she taught me so very much. I am greatly honored to have known her, shared time, experiences, grief’s and joys over the years we were acquainted. She was a force to be reckoned with but also had a wicked sense of humor. I still remember her telling me how ‘free’ was always her favorite price. I had not seen her or talked to her in many many years but heard about her off and on through a mutual friend. Sonya was one of those people that comes into your life for a reason, a season or forever. She left a mark and memory on my heart. Rest in peace dear one. Everything will be ok in the end.
I am so sad to hear of Sonya’s passing. I worked with her for eighteen years at Lockheed Martin. Although our paths drifted apart in the latter years, she periodically crosses my mind and I remember working with her to complete projects and meet impossible deadlines. She was an extremely well organized person that kept the place running like a well oiled machine. May our paths cross again someday.
