Bobby Rogers

Bobby Rogers, a resident of League City, Texas, passed away on September 28, 2023.

He was born in Laneville, Texas to Galyon and Marie Rogers.  He met the love of his life Glenda in Jacinto City Texas and they have been married for 60 years.

Bobby spent most of his working life in Crown Central Petroleum as a Pipe Fitter and Heavy Equipment Foreman.  He formed lifelong friendships while working there.

Bobby loved to fish!  He also loved to watch his Houston Astros and Texas Longhorns!  He enjoyed going to Galveston to eat at the Spot and walking on the Strand where he could buy candy from the Emporium.  He liked to make people laugh and it always brought a smile to his face.

He leaves behind his wife Glenda of 60 years. One sister Jeannie Davis.  Two sons Glen and Terry.  Glen’s wife Ruth.  Three Grandchildren Rachael, Karis, and Genna.  Two great grandchildren Hailee and Maddie. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bobby’s life will be celebrated with family and friends on Sunday, October 1st from 4-7 PM at Crowder Funeral Home in League City.

We all will cherish our memories, but we are sad to lose our loved ones. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry that I will not be able to come and celebrate his life.
