  9. Melissa, My deepest condolences to you and all of Bryon’s family. Bryon was a wonderful guy and a great asset to our neighborhood. I will also remember with joy he’s attempts to get Rosie to walk gently on the leash. Rosie definitely won that battle. May God be with you during this time. Rest in peace.

  10. My condolences to Melissa and Byron’s family. It’s always especially hard when someone we love is unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord. May God lessen the loss each day and fill your family with greater peace in its place. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend and will be missed!

  13. Melissa, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. May God comfort you through all the cherished good memories and love and laughter. My boys and I will never forget our visit to your home to visit Rosie, which turned into a visit to the Aquarium “at Byron’s recommendation.” He was incredible kind and great with my boys who were 9yrs old at the time. He taught them how to feed the stingrays 🙂 we all had some great “belly laughs” and of course when we all went to lunch…. he absolutely would NOT allow us to pay for our meal. He is an incredibly kind soul and will be dearly missed by anyone who has been touched by his kindness!

  19. Byron, this news hit me like a ton of bricks. I’m not sure it will ever fully sink in. I’ll forever remember our jokes about the Midwest during all of our damage inspections at McNeese over these past 3 years. Thanks for all of your kindness and assistance over the past few years. You will forever be missed, but never forgotten.
