Dorothy (Dot) May Ovelman Booke, 96, of League City, TX, passed away on September 3, 2023 in Houston, TX. Dorothy was born August 2, 1927 to Harry and Madeline Ovelman in Philadelphia, PA.
Dorothy met her husband, Ogden Booke of Brooklyn, NY at a local community dance. They went on to have three children, Martha, Patty and Barbara. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Ogden and is survived by her daughters Martha Robinson (Glenn), Patty Barras, Barbara Wallach (Josh) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband, Ogden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wreaths Across America http://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org .
