Mitchell Ryan Childress, 35, passed away on Monday June 19th 2023, in Anderson, TX. He was born on May 13th 1988 in Fort Stewart, Georgia and lived in Pasadena, Texas.

Mitchell is survived by his wife Heather LeGasse Childress, son Eli Everett Childress, and Motherin-law June LeGasse. Mitchell was blessed by having a relationship with both his adoptive and biological families, he was also survived by his parents, Judy and Tolbert Childress, Debra and Roy Rustin, and John Sayers, sisters Karley Kirk and husband Kevin Kirk, Kacey Hale and husband Matt Hale, Marshall Childress and wife Katie Childress, and Monetta Johnson, Sister in Law Stephanie LeGasse, his nephews Kolton Kirk, Kolby Kirk, Cullen Rowan, nieces Hadley Hale, Sonya LeGasse, Petra Rios, Great Nephew Leon Ezra LeGasse, grandparents Dora Latham, Joyce Johnson, his Godchildren Cayden Coltrane Gentry Rhodes, Dominick JayLynn Poole, Prince Alejandro Eloy Trujillo Jr., Jayvis Alonso Martin Del Campo, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Mitchell was proceeded in death by his brother William Clint Childress, Father-in-law Woodrow LeGasse, Grandfather Thomas Latham, Grandfather Billye Paris, and Grandparents Will Sandifer Childress and Gladys Mae Childress, Aunt Cynthia Wheeler, and Cousin Kristi Wheeler Robinson. Mitchell had a passion for motorcycles, mechanics, art, robots, video games, anything, and everything on the water, and most of all his family, especially his wife and son who were his entire universe.

Services will be held on Wednesday June 28th 2023: Viewing 4pm – 5pm Funeral 5pm – 6pm Catered reception directly after The family is asking for everyone attending, to wear Mitchell’s favorite color, blue.

All services will be at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, TX. 111 E. Medical Center BLVD, Webster, TX 77598.
