Lou was a precious sweet lady. Will miss her beating me at Shanghai!!😊
She now has the joy we all look forward to one day— being with our Heavenly Father and the many loved ones waiting there for us. 🙏❤️
What a class act lady, mom to any that crossed her path, great human being for as long as my memory reaches with her.
My sincere condolences to all.
With love,
I have known Lou for a long as I can remember… and every memory I have of her is wonderful! I know she is at peace, fully restored in the arms of our Savior… what a great place to be. Robin and Viv, my thoughts and prayers are with y’all and all of your family!
The loss of a parent is very difficult. Give yourself plenty of time.
I’m so sorry for your loss Robin. Will keep you in my prayers.
Aunt Lou called me Denise “Robin” until 10 yrs later, she had a precious baby girl she named Robin.
In the Bible, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” That is what my aunt embodies to me–she loved children like Jesus!
A favorite family memory is her swimming with us kids at Lake Tejas “Colmesneil” sliding down the water slide in a fuschia (hot pink) swimsuit with matching fingernail and toe polish, laughing all the way.
Every Christmas Eve we would gather at mom and dad’s house to sing Christmas carols. A special joy is remembering when we sang the “12 Days of Christmas”, Aunt Lou’s Texas twang would draw out “F-i-v-e G-o-l-d-e-n R-i-n-g-s”!!!
Other gatherings, when bellies were full and tables cleared, the brave tried to beat Aunt Lou at Shang-hai.
I always loved Aunt Lou love singing loud in church about Jesus, her Savior. And it comforts me to know right now, she is singing in person, enjoying Jesus and all of Heaven!
Louise was one of God’s gifts to our world. Her memory will always be a blessing.
So sorry for your loss. Praying for you and your family.
Words cannot express how much I am going to miss Ms. Lou. She was such a God sharing woman that she helped my grandson to find his path to God by giving him a Bible. I am praying for you and your family ❤️🙏🏾. She will be surely missed but never forgotten 😢.
