  2. Dear Lisa, Mina, William and children,
I left The Buckingham over a year ago and at the same time injured my back. No doubt he would have had some good advice for me in rehabbing; it’s taking a long time and I can appreciate those in his field of medicine all the more. He and I had a mutual friendship and respect through his interest in the Library which I managed (with help) and he never failed to tell me how much he appreciated the Library and my work. “Young Lady,” he would say, and add some serious or joking remark. I liked and admired him so much for his participation in EVERYTHING Buckingham had to offer in socialization. I loved seeing when you were all gathered in the St. James or otherwise. I know you shall miss him very much. Thank you, Dr. Daoud for all the cheer you added to my life!
