David Garcia, Sr., 51 of Texas City passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014. He was born October 16, 1963 in Galveston, Texas to Felicita and Maximo Garcia, Jr. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. David’s favorite pastime was fishing. He is preceded in death by his father Maximo Garcia, Jr. David is survived by his mother Felicita Garcia; two daughters, Desarae Garcia and Ariel Garcia; son David Garcia, Jr.; five sisters: Annie Rocha (Robert), Rose Fagan, Norma Jean Carrera (Israel), Elizabeth Ann Garcia and Ruth Cinton (Paul); one step-sister Laura Garcia Phillips (Mark); brother Max Garcia III and step-brother Mario Angel (Jessica); five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the James Crowder Funeral Home with Brother Tony Garza officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
