Javier Paz

Javier Paz, 69 of Texas City passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 in Texas City.  He was born on December 11, 1953 to Juan and Guadalupe Paz in Weslaco, Texas.

Javier was a resident of Texas City for over 45 years. He served in the US Army and was retired as a Social Worker for the State. Javier loved spending time with his grandkids, BBQing , fishing  and the Astros.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Veatriz Paz, brother Marin Paz and sister Sylvia Cavazos. Javier is survived by his three daughters; Judith Vaughn (Robert Worrell), Sanjuanita “Nicole” Paz (Cristian Ybarra) and Marissa Romeo (Chris Romeo); brothers; Juan Paz, Gerardo Paz and Hector Paz, five grandchildren; Samantha Vaughn, Canon Garcia, Dominic Ybarra, Mia Romeo and Maverick Romeo.

There will be a private Memorial Service at a later date.

    I honestly don’t know what to say. I just wish I could call you or you call me. I wish I could get random text from you, that make my day. I’m glad we went to the Texans game and you spent Christmas with my family. I hope you knew how much I loved you. Not a day will go by that I won’t think about you or wish I had you in my life still. I know your with mom know at bingo or fishing 🎣. I bet your with your brothers or sister hanging out and talking about old times. Don’t worry about us ok, we’re all fine, I promise 🙂 rest in piece. I love you so much.

  2. Hey grandpa I miss you I understand the impact I had on you and a lot of the family becuase for a long time I was the only boy. I hope that your body and mind is at peace and you can finally rest. But me and all of the family miss you a lot but I know you will be over my shoulder watching over me.
