Nancy Gonzales, 76 of Texas City passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in Texas City. She was born on July 11, 1946 to Frank and Nancy Jane Holmes in Dustin, Oklahoma.

She was a longtime resident of Texas City. She worked in Retail Sales and customer service, loved playing bingo with friends, traveling to Oklahoma to visit family, loved her trips to Las Vegas and spending time with her grandkids.

Nancy is preceded in death by both of her parents, grandparents, daughter Camey Townsend, and 16 siblings. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Juan Gilbert Gonzales, son Tracy Blanton, step-daughter Kimber Hall (Carl), grandchildren Starla Torres, Stormie, Skylar and Nicolas Townsend, Jonathan and Chase Blanton, Kyle and Connor Hall, great-grand daughter Chloe Townsend, and niece Maggie Funburg.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Crowder Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev Johnny Angel officiating. Pallbearers include Juan Gonzales, Stacy Gonzales, Carl Hall and Laquincy Thompson.
