Mary Evelyn McAuley
Mary Evelyn McAuley, 91, longtime resident of Dickinson, recently of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away December 26, 2022 in Birmingham. Mary was born June 15, 1931 to Marjorie Viola and Anthony Gordon Sullivan. She was a loyal parishioner of Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the VFW post 6378 Lady’s Auxiliary. She will be remembered as a loving devoted mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband Cecil John “Mac” McAuley, son Timothy McAuley, and son-in-law John Fortner.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Linda McAuley Fortner, and Sharon McAuley Browning and her husband Jim: brother George Sullivan and wife Donna; grandchildren John Fortner and wife Nicole, Brittany Goodwin, Bethany Dieguez and husband Miguel, Justin McAuley and wife wife Sarah, Ashley Korolyov and husband Serge, and Madoc Williams; great-grandchildren Jacob Fortner, Jayden Fortner, Gabriella Dieguez, Elena Dieguez, Mia Dieguez, Everly Dieguez, and Tessa McAuley; and numerous other family members and friends.
In her honor there will be a visitation 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, with funeral services at 12:00 pm, Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Crowder Funeral Home Dickinson, Texas. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Memorial park Webster Texas.
I’m sure going to miss her but I know she’s with her loves and many many friends. See you on the other side Mary.
