  3. Dan,

I’m grateful to have known you as my neighbor and the husband of my dear friend, Kim. I’ll always remember how you welcomed me on the block, when my family and I first moved to the community. Your legacy will carry on, and you will be missed but never forgotten.

    Kind regards,

  7. So sad to see this notice, – all my condolences to Kim and family. Dan was a good friend and supporter when I had an assignment to Houston in the mid ’80s. Many a lunch together. While I hadn’t seen Dan for a long time, we had touched bases from time to time, and I read this from Melbourne, Australia with great sadness. RIP

  8. Sincere condolences to the Hough family. After working together at Oracle in the oil patch, Dan and I kept in touch for many years. He was quite proud of his son Joel for getting his Eagle Scout and we often reminisced about his father/son Scouting adventures. I’ll always remember his storytelling, his sense of humor and his low growly voice. Rest In Peace, My Friend.

  11. This is heartbreaking. Kim, I’m so very sorry for your family’s loss. Dan was a good man, and an even better friend. I have so many fantastic Dan memories and, when I think back, they all make me laugh or smile. People come into our lives at a particular time for a specific reason. Dan had perfect timing 35+ years ago when he became my roommate and best friend. He will never be forgotten, and will always, always be in my heart.

  12. We’re so sorry for the loss of Dan, our family friend and neighbor. I’ll remember him as a loving husband and father and helpful neighbor, always willing to help out when Mike wasn’t around and I needed a ride to the airport, to leave my car at the mechanic’s, etc. He was there when he was needed. Kim, Noelle, and Joel – you have our prayers and our support.
