It was great growing up together and having the friendship and many experiences we did. Distance separation after HS only slowed down the communication but never impacted the memories nor the friendship. I enjoyed continuing our talks later in life and wish we would have had that last cup of coffee we talked about. Rest in Peace old mate! My prayers and condolences go out to Carolyn and your family. You will be greatly missed.
Our deepest condolences for your loss – our thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family.
So sad that Ronnie is gone, however, now at
a place where there is no pain and misery, just
everlasting joy and happiness.
He was a great man in every respect, tough, strong ,
confident and caring.
We will pray for all,
James & Kathy Masten
We moved away from the area quite a few years ago, but remembering the Crowder family from years ago is a great memory. I met John and Ronny at Fatima in Texas City along with their mom and dad. They were great guys and we had some wonderful times playing football and getting to know each other. I’m sorry to read that Ronny is gone. He accomplished so much in his life to be proud of. I’m proud I knew him and his family. God bless you all.
My deepest sympathies to the Crowder family Many memories of Ronnie, Carolyn and the kids are popping up and bringing a smile to my heart. Though Brandon and I no longer live in Texas, our hearts are still part of the Texas City/La Marque group of people who brought joy to our lives and Ronnie was one who always was a huge part of that group. May the family find peace and may the memories bring a smile to their hearts and souls. I know Ronnie and Ray are talking sports right now in heaven.
The Good Deeds, and Good times experienced with Ronnie from about 1980 to the recent years would require more space. Most of all Ronnie Loved his Wife, Children, and Grandchildren.
Fireworks, Fishing, Hunting, & Hard Work were all shared with family. We had an occasional drink, and a few philosophical conversations to be cherished.
He was a mentor and friend.
God bless “Honey” & family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Crowder Family. We lost a great man and valued member of our community. Ronnie will be missed. May God’s Grace and Mercy welcome Ronnie into the Kingdom of Heaven. Deacon Russ & Di Carroll

I have learned of Ron’s passing just recently. He was the person who provided me the information needed to start my career in the Funeral Profession. Over fifty years ago I had the privilege of working with Ron, his dad, and his brother James, Jr. He was a great man and he had a great sense of humor.
