Margaret Virginia Williamson

Margaret Virginia Williamson, “Maggie” to her friends, of Hitchcock, passed away July 31, 2022 in League City.  Maggie was born June 23, 1939 to Hettie Mae and Harry Cullen in Dallas, Texas. She worked for Bealls in Mt. Pleasant for many years. She loved to work with her hands and created beautiful stained-glass pieces.  Maggie liked to have fun, playing solitaire, or going with her good friend Sharon to the boats.  She will be remembered as a loving devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lisa Louise Tipton, and brothers Billy Ray Cullen and Carroll Vincent.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Carrie and husband Elvis Long, Jr.; granddaughter Amie and husband Justin Votaw; grandson Andy and wife Ashley Long; Great-grandchildren Levi and Lexie Votaw, and Tommy Ray Long; and numerous other family members and friends.

In her honor there will be a visitation from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.

  3. I Loved me some Grannie P! I could always count on Grannie to make me smile or flat out belly laugh! She was spunky, quick whitted, and to the point. We will miss her so very much. Love, hugs, and prayers for comfort are going out to the entire family in this difficult time. Love~Blair
