Cheryl Kay Barker died on July 7, 2022 in Texas City, Texas.  Cherie was born in Casper, Wyoming on June 27, 1950 to Calvin Thomas Kinder, Jr. and Jacqueline Ann Huey.  She graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper in 1968.  She married Daniel Wayne Barker in Walla Walla, WA on May 30, 1970.  Dan and Cherie had two daughters, Andrea Lynn Barker in Bremerton, WA and Carrie Ann Barker in Landstuhl, Germany.

Cherie retired after 21 years from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX where she was an Administrative Associate for the Department of Anesthesiology.  She enjoyed traveling, yoga, water pilates, scrapbooking, her Olli groups, and spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kathy Uglow.  She is survived by her husband, Dan Barker, daughters Andrea Brehmer of San Leon, TX and Carrie Lemmonds of League City, TX, her grandson Jason Brehmer and granddaughters Kylie Barrientez, Ashley Lemmonds and Hannah Lemmonds, sister, Karen Anderson of Casper, WY and many cherished nephews and nieces.
