Crystal Viruette
Crystal Viruette, a resident of Pearland, TX passed away May 31, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Crystal was born March 26, 1988, in Livingston, TX.
She graduated in 2014 from the University of Houston, with her BA in Psychology. Shortly after she started an online business, Curve Activewear. She designed and manufactured her own brand, and in the process gained popularity in the activewear community. In her spare time, she substituted for Houston ISD, helped in fundraisers for various charities, and traveled. Her travels took her from California to Massachusetts, to the mountains of Colombia, to the Islands of Turks and Caicos.
She loved to live life to the fullest and always did it with a smile on her face. There are truly no words to adequately describe her, the life she lived, and the impact she had on so many people.
Crystal leaves behind her fiancée, Paul Villarreal; parents, Andy and Yamile Viruette, Sr.; brothers: Andy Viruette and his wife Julie and their children Emily, Blake, and Brooke, Gabino Viruette and his son Caleb, and Fabian Viruette and his wife Victoria and their daughter Penelope, and grandmother, Priscilla Aldana.
There will be a memorial visitation from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, with a service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway Street, Pearland, TX 77581.

Words can’t express the loss my family and I feel with the passing of Crystal. We had considered her a member of our family. We loved her and felt blessed to have known her. I will forever be so thankful to Crystal for the kind of long, loving and loyal friend she was to my daughter Tammy. Rest In Peace Crystal we will miss you always.
I am so deeply saddened by your loss. In the short time I has the honor in getting to know Crystal, I prayed so hard every day for healing and congratulations comfort. Paul and family. Please know that it is Crystal who is crying for us left behind in this Earth. She is in a much better, beautiful place with God. My deepest Condolences.

My deepest condolences to the family of Crystal. She always had a smile on her face. She fought a brave battle and she is at peace now. She will be missed by so many. Thank you Crystal for the friendship you showed my nieces and for letting us know you. Rest in peace beautiful lady. Aunt D will miss you.
You were so very special and had a light that shined so brightly, I couldn’t help but be in awe of you. I’m so very grateful that you and my sister had the bond you had. You will always be a part of our family and we will always miss you. All my love to Paul and to Crystal’s family.
