Freddie “Fred” Arther Bailey, 97, passed away May 16, 2022. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 1, 1925.

Pearland, TX was his residence for over 60 years with his family. He was a man of many talents and skills. Most of the time you would find him in his shop that he built, building and repairing whatever was broken. He could make it new again.

What he could do with his mind and hands was amazing!

He also enjoyed music and could play several different instruments. His favorite was an accordion in which he owned several of them.

At 96 years old he was still doing his own yard work mowing, weeding and trimming trees. He loved to sit in his lawn chair with one of his dogs, or cats on his lap.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Susie Bailey; sister, Opal; brothers: Vick, Richard, and Billy.

He leaves his wife of 78 years, Helen L. Bailey; daughters: Shirley D. Clark, and Candy L. Henry, husband John; sons: Roger A. Bailey, wife Joy, and Raymond E. Bailey, wife Janie; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

You will be greatly missed by all whom knew and loved you. You will forever be in our hearts, rest in peace Dad.
