Melissa Ann Norris (Walton) age 49, of Texas City, TX passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022.She was born February 2nd, 1973, in Galveston, TX to Willie Frank Walton, Jr. and Delores Walton.
Melissa was born in Galveston, TX and raised in Texas City, TX, where she resided until she passed. She and her husband were childhood sweethearts who loved each other dearly; they had one daughter who became their world.
Melissa’s life revolved around her husband, daughter, and son in law, and granddaughters they were the light of her life. She never missed an opportunity to brag about her granddaughters or to show off their pictures.
Melissa worked for the Galveston County Tax office as the Branch Coordinator for 15 years.
Melissa is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Randy Norris, one daughter Brandi Norris, son in law Travis Alexander, two beautiful granddaughters Brooklynn and Braelynn, mother and father Willie (Bubba) and Delores, two brothers Jon Walton (Sandi) and Willie Lee, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on March 18, 2022 from 1pm to 4pm at James Crowder Funeral Home 401 Texas Ave, La Marque, TX 77568.
I worked with Melissa at County. I am very sad to hear this. Prayers goes out to you all. May God Bless you with Strength and Peace.

I so enjoyed visiting and doing Melissa’s hair most of our conversations were about our families she loved you guys with all her heart. always talking and telling fun stories about her precious grand daughters and you both. She was a very good girl and she will be greatly missed I’ve known her and her family long time and there are very good people saddens me that they have to go through this
