Forever in my heart, Rich!
Rest in peace cuz. I will miss you. I will miss your sly smile, that twinkle in your eye and your love of family. I loved you like a brother.
“Dear Richie, I love you.”
To Judy and Kelly and Ryan, I am so sorry for your loss.
Bob and Donna and Pat, I am so sorry for your loss.
To his beloved grandkids, PA will always be with you in your hearts.
TANKS for the memories! Rich and I worked together for many years at GATX. I believe he coined that phrase. I’m so glad that we were friends. Because if we had not met, your brother Patrick would not have met and married my sister and then we all became family. My sincere condolences to the entire Butler family.
Sincerely,
Susan and Andy Jones and family. 🇺🇸
We go back 50 Years with Rich & Marge as neighbors with our very young families in Country Club Hills.
We were good friends and honored to have them as God parents to my son.
We were excited to recontacted and welcomed Rich to our family when he married Judy.
So many great memories spending time with Rich, I wish we had more time.
Rich: rest in peace my old friend you will be missed!
Thanks for being a great role model for what a kind, devout, witty and caring member of society should be, as well as what an elder in our family should exemplify. I will miss you not being a part of this plain of existence.
To Judy, Ryan and Kelley, my sincere condolences.
Our dear friend 38 years we have been blessed to know you. You will be missed

Utmost Worthy, Rest in Peace. My Brother, my Friend and my Simon. My heartfelt condolences to Judy, Kelly, Ryan, and family. May God bless and comfort you all during this difficult time.
I will always remember the smiles by Rich to Judy, and Judy to Rich as they visited us in Arizona, as a side trip on their honeymoon. He was so very sweet and patient as he pleasantly ‘endured’ all the questions we had for him, as we assured ourselves of their happiness in this late life marriage. The smiles, the laughter, the sharing, the jokes, the touches, all this demonstrated the love between them. I got to connect again with Rich as he drove us around during a rainy fall visit to his town of Houston, witnessed their continual love for one another. Wish they would have been able to spend more time together, but know the time they did share meant a whole lot to both of them.
Rich will be greatly missed, he was a genuine good guy, loved his smile!!
My deepest sympathies to Judy, Kelly and Ryan
and your families. Condolences to Rich’s siblings
Bob, Donna and Patrick. You are all in my prayers
Rich, I will miss your Sunday updates on Facebook during the
football season letting us know how bad the Bears did
that day. You were always on spot with your comments.
Rest In Peace dear cousin.
Rich, I love you and I will miss you !
You have been part of my life since you were born!
Even when I took your toys apart!
Rest In Peace ! With your Margie.
Love ,Your Aunt Rose
Worked with Rich for 23 years at Argo, IL GATX terminal. Our paths crossed after that until now. He was his own man and I liked him. I received a message from him on Facebook from time to time and he was the only guy to call me Mikie {inside joke}. He will be missed.
