I have so many good memories of Aunt Gloria. She was always in my life and of course was my favorite aunt. I still have the ceramics I painted with her when I was about 17 or so. She always occupied herself with hobbies. Her most recent hobby was quilting and I was one of the fortunate to receive a few items made with her skillful hands. She made it a point to attend our family functions and loved doting on the children. She came to Christmas parties, Thanksgiving dinners & birthday parties. She loved doting on the children and helping learn. She made me feel special most of the time. I remember telling her that I wanted a beautiful baby some day like the one she had, (Marlene). She said it like she knew, “you will” & I did. Aunt Gloria and Uncle Dario always had children with them. They took us to the Huntsville Prison Rodeo, the beach & Six Flags in Arlington. She and my mom, her sister were very close when they were young. They loved, laughed and even had squabbles. One mom told me about was, Aunt Gloria was washing dished and mom was sweeping. Mom kept finding dirty dishes and taking them to be washed by Aunt G. At some point Aunt G went outside, picked up some dirt and threw on the floor inside. Funny girls. They frequently talked about the time they went to Tennessee to live briefly as young girls. Those memories always brought laughter. So much laughter. Aunt Gloria will be missed. We love you Aunt Gloria, you will be remembered as a force and a woman of strength.
Aunt Gloria always made me feel at home when visiting my cousin Marlene. She was a hoot, loved to have a good time. She didn’t mind us being loud and encouraged us to have fun too. It was nice having her play with us. She would watch movies with us and feed us eat yummy treats. She had the best laugh and biggest smile, I remember thinking her eyes twinkled. She loved her family, and will surely be missed by us all.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss! Our family loved your Mom and your family like y’all were part of our family. We have so many good memories being raised with y’all. I send my deepest sympathy to each and every one of you! May she RIP. She was such an awesome person. Love y’all. Renee
Best and fondest memories during my childhood was playing everyday during the summer with the Limon’s. It was also a great time spending the night at our cousins house. Aunt and Uncle were wonderful to be with. It’s true, Aunt Gloria always happy with a smile. Honestly, if it wasn’t for my Aunt telling me that my entire 1st grade class found out I was drinking my bottle in the restroom at school, there’s no telling how long before I would’ve hang up the bottle! Of course I denied it when she came to our house to tell me this, but boy when she went straight to the kitchen cabinet to get my cold bottle of milk, mom always had one waiting for me. Thats when I knew she was probably telling the truth! Years later my mom told me her and my aunt planned it all.
Gotta love them.😘
Rest with Jesus, Aunt.

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
