William Kaluza
William Doyle Kaluza, age 69, passed peacefully from this life at home on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Better known to his friends as “Bill”, he was born in Waco, Texas on August 29, 1945, and soon moved with his family to Galveston. He later settled in Texas City, where he spent the remainder of his time. William never met a stranger, and will be remembered as a generous, kind-hearted person. He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife Billie Kaluza; his parents Emil Charles Kaluza and Audra Fay Boykin Kaluza; sister Linda Pearl Ryan and her husband Jerry Ryan; brother, Damon Michael Kaluza, Sr.; brother-in-law Samuel W. Rawls and nephew Andrew Charles Mauldin; and niece Sharon Ann Bradford. He is survived by and will be truly missed by his sisters Carolyn Ann Wilson and husband William; Sharron Kay Schott and husband James; and Dolores Fay Rawls; sister-in-law Patricia Kaluza; daughters Jessie Lynn Kaluza and Patricia Gail Kaluza; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of a service, the family has opted for a private memorial. They ask that those wishing to honor William do so with a donation to their favorite charity in his name. They would also like to send a special “Thank You” to Hallmark Hospice, Dr. Dipsu Patel, Dr. Tona Keller, Dr. John Lewis, and Dr. Fan Li.
To the family and friends of William Kaluza: I am truly sorry for your loss. It is obvious that your loved one loved life and family and that he was loved in return. Our loving creator has provided hope and comfort to help us through such difficult times. Isiah 33:24 promises a time when “no resident will say “I am sick”…..John 5: 28,29 promises a resurrection…. Rev. 21:4 promises a time when there will be no pain, outcry or even death anymore……The time will soon come when these scriptures will be fulfilled. In the meantime hold on to the memories of your loved one and prepare yourselves that you may be there to greet him when the time comes.
