George Reynolds, 89, of Texas City Texas, passed away on February 1, 2022 in Webster.

He was born on June 2, 1932 to George and Minnie Reynolds in Corpus Christi, TX.  He grew up on Virginia Point and is a graduate of La Marque High School, class of 1949.  On July 7, 1956 he married Edna Mae Bullacher of Galveston, Texas and they were married for 64 years until her death in 2021.

George was a retired draftsman/engineer from the Union Carbide Corporation, Texas City after 41 years of service.  He spent time in the army during the Korean War. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing and playing golf in the Galveston area.  Later in life he enjoyed fishing at Toledo Bend with friends.

George is survived by his daughter Dr. Sharon Reynolds of Bedford, Pennsylvania, daughter Leanna Jackson and husband Travis of Dickinson, Texas, grandson Richard and wife Liz Westmoreland of Houston, TX, grandson Daniel Jackson and partner Ashley Hemphill of Dickinson, TX, and granddaughter Sarah Trevino and husband Alec of San Antonio, TX.  He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, Serina Jackson, Oceannah Jackson and Rylee Hemphill.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at James Crowder Funeral Home, 401 Texas Avenue, La Marque, TX.
