David L. Vrana passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022.  David was born on August 12, 1946, in Goose Creek, Texas and resided most of his life in Houston.  He graduated from C.E. King High School in 1964 and shortly after served his country in the United States Air Force.   David enjoyed living life to the fullest, golfing with his friends, and most of all being out on the water fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Vrana and Selma Sonka Vrana; brothers, James and Ray Vrana; and son in law, Jerry Puryear.

He leaves his wife Suying Li Vrana; daughter, Stephanie Puryear; grandchildren, Ashtyn Brown and Colin Puryear; sister Dorothy Hylton; brother, Earnest Vrana; and sister-in-law Shirley Vrana.

There will be a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 3pm–5pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas.
