Willie Margaret Smithwick Nigh, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 1, 2014.  She was born October 22, 1922 in Middleton, Tennessee, the daughter of William and Mary Ellen (Smalley) Rogers.  During the war, Margaret was proud to have been a “Rosie the Riveter”.  She was also a loving wife and mother and a devoted Christian.  She will be missed by her son and daughter in law, Roger and Georgia Smithwick, grandsons, Peter and Roger, great grandchildren, Rebecca, Dylan and Liam.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 am, Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Crowder Funeral Home in Webster.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Oral Smithwick in the Forest Park East Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers her family would be pleased if you did something nice for a stranger, paid it forward, or donated to your favorite charity in her loving memory.
