William Murrel Wahlquist, 80, of Santa Fe TX, passed away on the morning of December 26th, 2021 at his place of residence in the company of loved ones.

“Buddy” Wahlquist was born to Joseph and Mary Wahlquist in Arkansas in 1941.

He is preceded in death by his brothers George Wahlquist and Charles Wahlquist, his wife Esther Wahlquist, and his firstborn daughter Rosemary “Penny” Jackson.

William is survived by his son-in-law John Jackson, his daughter Patty Connally, and his grandchildren Justin Jackson, Monica Jackson Speer, Weston Connally and Halston Connally. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren, all living in the League City area.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 31, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, TX. A graveside Service will be held in Memphis, TN at Forest Hills Cemetery.
