Robert Blanchard
Our kind and gentle Dad and Grandpa peacefully went to Heaven on November 8, 2021. We know he is pain free, memory restored and remembering all the beautiful things he created on Earth. We are so very sad to lose him, but know he is in the arms of Jesus, certainly playing with puppies he loves and the children, especially holding all the babies
Through his battle with dementia, his eyes always lit up when he saw children and puppies, he was the first to play with the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He instilled his love of gardening, nature, creativity and play in each of us. We will remember him every time we create something beautiful.
We will miss him greatly, our Mother is left to grieve her husband of 66 years and we have lost our father, grandfather and great grandfather. We were blessed to love him for 93 years. Words cannot express the love and gratitude we feel for Lucy, Dad’s caregiver.
Lucy cared for him endlessly, tirelessly, and lovingly for the past four years. We love and admire her with all our hearts, she gave us the gift of time to say goodbye.
