Edward Zamora, 65, of League City, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2021 while at the Clear Lake Methodist Hospital.

Ed was born on November 1, 1955 to loving parents, Pete and Esther Zamora in Shreveport, Louisiana. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ed is preceded in death by his mother Esther Zamora, his sister Jane Orlando, and niece Teri Orlando.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 44 years, Karen Zamora, sons Edward Zamora and wife Aida, Nigel Zamora, and Nathan Zamora and wife Meghan, his father Pete Zamora and wife Leanne, sister Sandy Crowder and husband Charlie, brother Richard Zamora and wife Claudia, brother-in-law Jack Orlando, uncle Alfonso Rodriguez, grandchildren Ryan Zamora and Isabelle Zamora, nieces Desiree Crowder, Mary Orlando, ConChatta Orlando, nephews Jason Crowder and Jake Zamora. Plus numerous grand-nieces and nephews.

Ed loved working for Community Toyota for many years as Financial Director under the owner Roger Elswick and will be remembered by co-workers, family and friends as a man who loved life, family and God. Ed was enthusiastic about cars and enjoyed testing various models by driving a different one each weekend. Ed had a sense of humor and loved to laugh at a good story.

Ed was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a very talented musician who taught his children and grandchildren a love for music. They took after him playing a variety of instruments for church services plus many other special occasions. He loved and looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren taking them on adventures such as fishing, the car races and the Astros baseball games.

Ed loved his New Hope Church family and with his wife Karen led the church band as he himself played the bass guitar at every Sunday morning service. He thoroughly enjoyed his duties as the sound director for the church and made sure everyone behind a mic sounded great.

Ed was cremated by Crowder Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date with time.
