Bob Dean Dale of League City, TX passed at the age of 88 on August 21, 2021 in the company of family after a brief illness.  He was preceded in death by his parents Jay McCarty and Vassie Lee Dale of Carlsbad, NM, brother Jack Dorice Dale, sister Jerry Cox Butler and son Jack Wesley Dale.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Kathy Dale, son David Dale and wife Anita Lee and daughter Elizabeth Dale Vorpe.

When Bob saw Kathy checking into the high school he attended he knew at that moment she was the one he wanted to marry.  He and Kathy raised three children and through love and patience, taught them to be gentlemen and a lady.  Bob’s family and friends knew him as one of the kindest, most gentle people they had ever known.  He retired from Armco Steel/National Supply Co. in 1983.  He was a dedicated family man and husband who had a great sense of humor.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and taking the family water skiing.
