Aaron Paul Balaban passed away June 28th, 2021. He was born in Painesville, OH on June 11th, 1983 to Paul and Laura Balaban. Aaron resided in League City, TX and grew up in Madison, OH. He is survived by his two precious boys Colby Nathan Balaban (15) and Parker Chad Balaban (13); parents Paul and Laura Balaban; sister Stephanie (Kevin) Albert; sister Renee (Jason) Ainbinder; maternal grandfather Charles Stephens; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and life long friends. He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents M. Robert and Carol Balaban; maternal grandmother Carolyn Stephens.
He graduated from Madison High School in 2002. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Army and served until 2007. SGT Aaron Balaban served in B Troop, 1st Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division AA as a Calvary Scout where he served a combat tour to Iraq in support of OIF. Aaron was also a designated marksman. Upon completing his military service he received his Associates of Arts from San Jacinto College in Pasadena, TX.
He was one of many talents including woodworking, drawing, painting and writing poetry. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, camp and hike. His drawings, paintings and poems will forever carry on his enthusiasm for life.
If you were blessed to know Aaron, you couldn’t help but fall in love with his bright blue eyes and inviting smile as he captivated any room with his charisma. He was an amazing and devoted father that loved his boys with all his heart. His tender, compassionate, generous and selfless soul who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was a shining star who always managed to see a person’s light and never their darkness. He’s now resting in peace where his true light can shine.
A grave side ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10am at Fairview Cemetery in League City, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will follow the cemetery at American Legion Post 554, 1650 Hwy 3, League City, Texas 77573.

A great friend who is truly missed by everyone who knew him. I am forever thankful for my time with him. He is in nearly every one of my memories of my first years in the Army. I am glad that I got the opportunity to reconnect with him before his passing. That was a good day. Love you and Rest easy Brother!

Oh, Laura and Paul, I am so sorry! My heart breaks for you and your family! If there is anything at all I can do or even if you just need to talk, call me. I am sorry I didn’t know your son, what a strikingly handsome man he was! My prayers are with you all.
Awesome soul & great 💓, gone too soon. I felt like a part of FAMILY in the times we spent together. Aaron now there’s no more night or Pain …..you have rest in the SAVIOR’S loving arms ! So many wonderful memories we shared together. Crazy young and wild kids. I’m thankful for you always being there for me. Accepting me into your home like family. Teaching me what a real family looked like and what the kids and I deserved. Knowing you introduced me to some of the best things in my life including my husband, your brother Kurt.
