Lou Brock, 67, passed away on March 29^th 2021 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born on January 23^rd, 1954 in Galax, VA to Betty Bedwell and Hines Peddy. Lou Brock is survived by: her husband, Bill; daughter, Laurel; son, Colin; mother, Betty; sister, Kate; brother, Tom; dogs Chuck and Leia, and numerous family members and friends.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Lou served as Professor of Fine Arts and later Dean of the Technical College at San Jacinto College South. She had a passion for art and loved to create and explore the arts with her family, friends, students, and colleagues. Lou’s charm, loving kindness, generosity, and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.

A private memorial will be held for the family on Saturday, April 3rd in Webster, Texas; a larger Celebration of Lou’s Life will follow later in the summer for her friends & family.
