Jesusita “Susie” Dahlin, 74, of La Marque, passed away on the afternoon of February 11, 2021 in Texas City.  Susie was born April 4, 1946, the youngest of twelve children to Felicitas and Joaquin Ballesteros in Galveston.  She worked in the lab for UTMB John Sealy Hospital for many years as well as Mainland and other care facilities. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Susie leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons Jeffrey Scott Dahlin, Michael Dahlin and his wife Catherine; sister Navi Hughey and husband John; brother Joaquin Ballesteros; grandsons Mitchell and Derek; great-granddaughter Dehlia; Niece Paula Salazar, and Grand-Niece Sarah Salazar.

Following Susie’s wishes, cremation arrangements are through Crowder Funeral Home Dickinson.
