Rosa Maria Bravo
Rosa Maria Bravo, 65, of League City, Texas, passed away at her home on January 24, 2021. Rosa was born in Mission, Texas on December 19, 1955 to parents Francisco Melendez and Teresa de Jesus Rodriguez.
Rosa was preceded in death by her sister, Conchita Gallegos, and brothers Juan Melendez and Mario Melendez.
Rosa is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jesus Bravo, Sr., daughter Ernestina Melendez, sons Jesus Bravo, Jr. and Israel Bravo, sisters Estella Hernandez, Marta Melendez, Berta Melendez, Nana Alvarado, and Maria Rodriguez, brothers Rudy Melendez and Joe Melendez, grandchildren Cynthia Suarez, Nancy Suarez, George Suarez III, Mallory Layla Bravo, Michelle Chrystina Bravo, Jesus Bravo III, Sophia Bravo, and Israel Bravo, Jr., and great-grandchildren Adrian Anzalda, Calvin Sereal, Tina Rose Sereal, and Amelia Amaya. Rosa is also survived by many other loved ones including those from her husband’s family and dear friends.
A visitation for Rosa will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at from 4:00-8:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A Rosary will be said in her honor at 7:00 pm. The funeral service for Rosa will held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10:30 am at Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson, Texas. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.

My beautiful aunt Rosa, you shared so much love to others and with open arms. You always gave me a shoulder to cry on and listen to my stories when it was rough. I remember staying at your house several times and it was always pleasant you helped me in so many ways thought I could not explain. Its hard to see you gone but not forgotten. you have joined other’s in the family and I know deep down you all are angels watching over all of us. I love you tia and my condolences go out to your loved ones as this is not easy on them. Just know that even though we are miles and miles away we will always be there for one another. Rest in heaven and smile down at us while we listen to your favorite music and look at all the beautiful memories.
My dear Tia Rosa, it hurts my heart to have to say goodbye. Although we know this world is temporary it’s still hard to know your gone. I do find solace in the fact that your rejoicing in heaven with ama and apa, my beloved mother Conchita Juan n Mario, Rita. Oh what a reunion it must be! You were always kind and loving to me and my family and loved me when I didn’t love myself always with open arms and love. Rest easy Tia and give my mother a kiss from me. I love you and miss you.
