David Pineda, Jr.
David Pineda, Jr.,67, passed away in his home on January 08, 2021 in Houston, TX. David was born on September 01, 1953 in Laredo, TX. He was a graduate of Martin High School in 1972 and went on to pursue a certificate at Laredo Junior College. He has been a resident of Houston, TX for 48 years and worked at Central Freight Lines for several years as well as at Handy Hardware for 20 years. His last 13 years of employment were given to Walmart in various positions throughout the company. He had such a great work ethic and strived for his best in the workplace. For many years, he made Greater Harvest Community Church his place to worship the Lord, and it is where he came to know Christ. Also, he was an avid sports fan, and his love for the Dallas cowboys was contagious: a fan for as long as one can remember. He enjoyed the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo and always included his nieces and nephews in making it a special day. Camping and the great outdoors were a place he loved to escape to in the summers and enjoyed with all his family. He was a very loving and caring uncle when it came to his nieces and nephews. He had no children of his own, and always loved us as if were his own children. He would do anything for you if he could.
David is preceded in death by his parents, David and Cointa Pineda Sr., and sister, San Juanita Elizalde.
David leaves behind to cherish his memories, brother: Martin Guerra, wife Maria and Jose Guerra.
Onward, into the loving arms of God may you rest. Until we see you again.
