Jodie Roofner

Jodie Lynn Roofner, 60, passed away November 25, 2020 in Katy, Texas due to complications from multiple health issues. Jodie was born on December 29, 1959 in Youngstown, Ohio to Jack and Patricia Repp. She graduated from Canfield High School in 1979 and worked in the customer service industry for many years while raising her son, Justin. Jodie moved to Webster, Texas in 2005 to be near family.
Jodie was a kind, caring person who took joy in small things. She loved giving presents and had a special knack for finding just the right gift for everyone she came to know. She loved collecting music boxes, playing cards, and spending time with her many friends at the Houston Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The greatest joy in her life was her son Justin, a Gunnery Sergeant in the USMC, of whom she was immensely proud.
Jodie is survived by her son Justin and his wife Tiana, mother Patricia, siblings Mike, Laurie and Scott and their spouses Loret, Wayne and Judy, grandson Jack, step-grandson Aden, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Jack.
No memorial is scheduled at this time, but the family will hold one at a later date. If you would like to make a memorial donation in Jodie’s honor, donations can be made to HoustonLighthouse.org.

  1. Jodie was such a sweet, funny friend and neighbor for many years when our family lived in Webster. My son, Colin, would go over and play play-dough and cards with her. Ms. Pat, Jodie, Laurie, and I would go out to lunch at Barcenas, Don Picos, and Dos Mas when it was around. Jodie’s kind smile will be missed. Our warmest condolences to all of the family at this time, and in the weeks ahead. We all loved Jodie. – Holly, Steve & Colin
