Fatima Ciric passed away on October 5, 2020 in Nassau Bay, Texas at the age of 77.   She was a loving Mama and a dear friend to all who knew her, but she especially loved her role as Nana.

Fatima was born in Croatia and the family moved to the United States 30+ years ago, settling in the Dallas area.

Some of her favorite pastimes included family gatherings and being with family at every opportunity, spending special time with her grandsons, cooking and sharing her creations with family and friends.  She was not much of a recipe-follower and never met anyone who didn’t love whatever goodies she had cooked or baked.  One thing was always true and something everyone learned quickly about our Mama is that you better leave room for some dessert.

Fatima was preceded in death by her parents, Jusuf and Katica and her brothers, Asim and Fehim. She is survived by her daughters, Lejla and Amela, grandsons CJ and Denis, brother Sead, nieces and nephews.

Family will hold a private service in celebration of Fatima’s life.
