Joseph William Hilscher
Joseph William Hilscher, 83, of Dickinson passed away October 23, 2020, in Webster. Joseph was born October 26, 1936 to Louise and Joseph Anton Hilscher in Stamford, Texas. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. He retired from M.D. Anderson where he worked as a cabinet maker for many years.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Rita Hilscher and a son Howard Corby Hilscher. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters Lynnell Hayes and her husband Rutherford, and Bobbie Calcote and her husband Keith; son Holland R. Hilscher and his wife Beverly; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
Following his cremation, Joseph will be interred at Houston National Cemetery joining his beloved wife Rita.
I am very sorry to hear of Joe”s passing. He and i were friends and used to sing karaoke together at Alvin Senior Center. He had New Years party last year and I was looking forward to this year. We had the service in common. He with the Navy and me with Coast Guard. I will miss him!!
Mr. Joe was my friend! I will miss him like no other.
