Ronald Charles Janca
Ronald Charles Janca of League City went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 21, 2020, surrounded by family at his League City home after a 3 year battle with ALS. He was 57. Ron was born on September 2, 1963, in Texas City, Texas, to Charlie and Wynethia (Dean) Janca. He was preceded in death by his mother Dean. Ron is survived by his loving wife Mary Anne, daughters Elizabeth and Rachel, father Charlie Janca, father-in-law Chuck Thomas and wife Mary Lou, sister Christy Galyean and her husband Jeff, sister-in-law Becky Hoffman and her husband David, nephews Michael Craig and Phillip O’Toole, nieces Sarah Craig and Peyton Galyean and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins as well as numerous friends.
Ron married the love of his life on September 15, 1988. He loved his daughters with every heartbeat and couldn’t wait for his father-daughter dates with his girls. They were his sunshine. Through the years Ron had many jobs and was very fortunate to develop many lifelong friendships along the way that meant so much to him. He always loved getting together with friends from all stages of his life. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone he met. The biggest joy in his life other than his family was his Lord and Savior. His face would just light up talking about his Savior. His smile was infectious, and a warm hug was available for everyone he met. If you asked him, “How are you?”, his answer was always, “Blessed, God loves you and so do I”.
It is never good-bye but see you later.
The Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 10:00am with a Ceremony at 11:00am at University Baptist Church, 16106 Middlebrook Dr, Houston, TX 77059. A private interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Praying for peace in this time
It means so much to me knowing how much Ron loved the Lord, and all of his family. I will miss my yearly happy birthday song. God’s peace and comfort to Mary Anne, Elizabeth, and Rachel, his heart.
The longer you knew Ron, the more you realized how remarkable of a man he was, how remarkable a servant, how devoted to his family, how loyal to his friends, how faithful to God, and how available he was to literally anyone who needed help. In these days in our society, one of the highest compliments you can give a man is the most simple thing to say and powerful when it’s said in earnest: “He’s a good man.”
Ron was that and more, a good son, brother, husband, father and friend. We are all better people for knowing Ron Janca! “Well done, good and faithful servant.” To Mary Anne, Rachel and Elizabeth…May your love and memories sustain you in this life of the man he was. Praying for strength and comfort and God’s presence in the coming days.
You were one of a kind! Absolutely the kindest most generous soul I’ve ever known. Rest well and prepare a place for the rest of us my Brother!
Ron was everything stated in the words above and more. He was outgoing and giving. You could tell he loved his Savior and family. He will be missed but he is enjoying his hilltop mansion now, walking up right and free from every burden.
I pray that family, friends, relatives and acquaintances remember his love for Christ and all those left behind.

I knew this day would come, I just prayed it would always be tomorrow. We are glad that your pain and suffering are over, and that you are resting with The Lord. Ron, to me was the brother I never had. I rare relationship where any and all of life’s struggles could be addressed. I am a better person today for having known him. It has been really tough watching his struggle over the last 3 years knowing what the ultimate outcome would be. Still, he faced his struggle with such a positive attitude and unwavering faith. So comforting to know where he is now and that his suffering is over. Ron, you will be missed but never forgotten
I miss Ron already, just knowing that he’s no longer around to share a text or a phone call. We worked together many years ago, and I learned a lot about how to live from Ron. He loved his Astros and his cars. Ron, like you always told me, it’s not goodbye, but see you later.

Ron Rest In Peace. I remember meeting you out in Clear Lake about 5 years ago setting up computers at the clinic off Gemini. You were so friendly and kind. We struck up an e-mail correspondence friendship. I have such guilt that we were unable to meet up for lunch. Please forgive me. I am very sad today learning of your passing.
Miss You Buddy. Our years working together was as good as it gets. You made the job fun.
Ron was such an amazing person and child of God. I am proud to say he was family; my cousin. He rarely focused on himself and was always concerned about others and prayerful of any problems they were experiencing. Just as my aunt wrote, I will miss my happy birthday messages. I still have the last one on my phone. My prayers go out to his loving wife, Mary Anne, and their daughters Elizabeth and Rachel. Love and hugs
