Desiderio Aguilera
Desiderio Aguilera, 57, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away September 24, 2020, in Houston, Texas. He was born October 29, 1962 to Guadalupe Vargas and Desiderio Aguilera, Sr. in Matamoros, Mexico. Desiderio was a loyal member of Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church and worked as an electronics technician for Barney’s Billiards, and H. A. Frenz.
Desiderio was preceded in death by his grandparents Julian Aguilera, Blasa Lozano, Juan Vargas, and Maria Luisa Gonzalez, and his mother Guadalupe Vargas.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Michael Cruz Aguilera; Michael’s siblings Jacquelin, Arnaldo, Julian, Daniel, Danielle, Juliet, Sophia, Clarissa, and Bella who he loved as his own; grandchildren Aidan, Anneliese, Amelia, and Anthony ; father Desiderio Aguilera, Sr.; sisters Alicia Cruz, Sylvia Ruiz, and Oralia Sanchez; brothers Juan Aguilera, Matilde Aguilera, Victor Aguilera, Rigoberto Aguilera, Herman Aguilera, and Roland Aguilera; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In his honor a visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, September 28, 2020, with a Rosary Service at 8:00 PM, at Crowder Funeral Home Dickinson. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at the Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church, Dickinson, Texas, with interment following at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, Texas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Arnaldo Perez, Johnny Aguilera, Samuel Salazar, Gilbert Sanchez, Rolando Aguilera, and Michael Aguilera.
