Tammy Dawn Borowitz
Friday September the 18th 2020 at 6:15 in the morning Tammy Dawn Borowitz, My Love, went to be with God and her Daddy in Heaven. 47 years after being born into this life in Pasadena Texas, and after a yearlong fight with cancer, she is finally free of that pain and can spread her new wings. The love we shared was a gift from God. She is the love of my life and my heart hurts more than words can express. She is my hero. I’ve never witnessed strength like hers. She fought for us with all she had. She was always strong for me and for our children Jessica Marie Cooper, Madison Mitchell and Justin Borowitz. She was so proud of them and loved them and our grandchildren, Dax Mitchell and Augustine Cooper, passionately. She loved her son in laws Johnny Cooper III and Andrew Mitchell with all her heart and was as thankful that our daughters have them as I am. She was a loving daughter and best friend to Nancy Reed and loved her step father, Larry Reed, with all her heart. I can never thank them enough for their love and support. She had a special love and place in her heart for her brother Dean Reed and loved his wife Kelly Reed and son Dylan Reed dearly. It was amazing to watch her accomplish her goals, to get her Bachelor’s degree and later her Master’s degree. Her next dream was to become an educator and we watched with pride as she did just that. It became her passion and her work family at CCISD showed us support and love above and beyond as she battled her illness this last year. For that our family is so very humbled and grateful. I am so proud of her, so proud to be her husband and of the life we built together. I am so thankful to God for the 17 passionate and loving years we shared and so profoundly sad to have no more. I know that she is watching over us all now and I know that she is as filled with love and pride at how her family and friends have come together for each other and for me. I love them all and can’t thank them enough. Please join us at Crowder Funeral Home at 1645 E Main Street in League City Texas (77573) on Sunday September the 27th from 2-5pm as we remember her life.
